March 31st - April 3rd

Last weekend was a whirlwind of course.

Thursday was a  holiday for me so I went over to the city with my mom. We browsed all the stores I wanted to stop in! Had a FABULOUS lunch at the Rotunda restaurant in Neiman Marcus at Union Square. I requested a table by the window, which they granted us. I refuse to eat anywhere else in the restaurant. Sorry, I'm spoiled. The wall of windows looks out over the square and the view is EVERYTHING! Add to that, the temperature was 80 degrees that day and there wasn't a cloud in the sky.  I had a spring salad, salmon over sweet potatoes and the most delicious pear flavored martini... To die for. Perfect days like that are why I love SF.

After I dropped my mom off, I had to make a drop for Oakland Girl, then meet my girls to have drinks on the deck at Lake Chalet. The weather was still great and we stayed out there for hours. Only left to go support our local R&B star, London, at his album listening party "Champagne & Strawberries". Since I had been drinking all day (basically) I turned it in early. Amazing day in the Bay.

Friday was April Fool's Day. I stayed in and watched Megamind with my baby boy. I liked it!! It was a little sad at first but turned out to be really entertaining! A friend asked me to meet for drinks but by the time I could get out I was pooped. I heard the A's game and Oakland's Art Murmur were a good time. The weather was still nice.

Saturday I had a workout in the am with my trainer, then ran Mikey over to his basketball clinic. His league, the "Squeaks", starts in two weeks in Hayward. He's been playing for two years. So CUTE!

One of my best girls had her 30th birthday celebration at ME Lounge, also in Hayward. I won't be going back. I was on the VIP list and got in easy enough, which I appreciated, but it was just not my crowd. And the bottles we ordered were overpriced.

Sunday I had a great day! I went to Sunday service at GSP, which was EXCELLENT. #Shoutout to my pastor, Bishop Joseph E. Simmons! "I got my bounce back!" Had brunch at the Lakeshore Cafe with some of my favorite people, then we went across the street to Peet's for coffee and sat out on their bench for an hour in the sun just talking. I had to leave to meet up with my trainer for another one-on-one which was exhilarating! We met up at the stairs by Lake Merritt and got it in! Went home and did homework with my son. Dropped him with his grandma and met up with friends for drinks at Lake Chalet's late happy hour. DELISH LEMON DROP! :D
