Across the Bay.. SF's Fillmore Jazz Festival

Every year on 4th of July weekend, the Fillmore shopping/restaurant/historic jazz district plays host to the Fillmore Jazz Festival. I haven't been in 2 or 3 years so I'm going to make it a point to go this year! I grew up going off and on with my parent's who are great lovers of jazz. They have passed this love of the music down to me.

Saturday morning at 10am, streets are closed off, stages are set up, booths with art, jewelry, clothing and more are open for business and (my personal favorite) the FOOD is available for consumption! Drinks for the 21+ are up for sale as well. A check of the weather indicated sunshine is on deck for the whole weekend... Sounds perfect! I'm going to see who I can round up to roll with me. ;)
